Travis Parker wins first and $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Martha Parker. Third and $3 goes to Dawn McGaha.
The Parkers both submitted perfect entries. travis was 33 points off the final Buc 26-7 win over OBA with a 34-32 guess. Martha was 49 off with a 42-40 guess.
McGaha won a three-way tie for third, all missing one game. McGaha picked the Bucs 28-10, just four off the actual score. Farther off on the tie-breaker were Dayna Sheets and Mark Martin.
The next installment of the contest appears on page 8 of today’s edition.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
