The Tonkawa PTO is hosting its annual Scholastic Book Fair at Tonkawa Elementary next week.
Due to Covid protocols, Gobble with Grandparents has been canceled. This was a great opportunity for students and grandparents to bond over breakfast and books. “We are saddened by the cancellation, however, there are still ways that grandparents, parents, and community members can support our efforts,” Principal Kelly Martin said. Parents and grandparents can put money in an E-Wallet for their students. Go to www.scholastic.com/fair, find Tonkawa Elementary, and follow steps to set up. This allows you to put money into an account for the student to spend without sending money. You may also order books online and have them shipped directly to your home. You may also go to www.scholastic.com/fair and find Tonkawa Elementary. You must find our school in order for our school to receive credit for your purchase. Christmas is right around the corner and books make fantastic Christmas presents.
All money earned from the book fair is used to purchase books for our library. You do not have to have a student at TES in order to purchase so please help us out if you can. Not only does a child benefit from a book at home, but they will benefit from a new book in our library. Thank you so much for your support!
