The Tonkawa Bucs’ annual Homecoming festivities will be held Friday.
A coffee will be held Friday morning in the Event Center.
School will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. district-wide.
The assembly will be held at 1 p.m. at Buc Stadium with the downtown parade following. Parade participants will form at the Methodist Church parking lot.
Tonkawa hosts Hinton for Homecoming at 7 p.m. Friday. Coronation of the 2020 Homecoming Queen and King will be at halftime.
Candidates for Queen are senior ball girls Katie Frazier and Jayden Ott and cheerleader Mikayla Myer.
Football captain candidates are Tristan Burdick, Carson Robinson, and Clay Massey, all seniors.
The student council has been having dress-up days leading up to the special day. Activities have included: Tuesday, Teachers dress as students and students dress as teachers; Wednesday, Dress in 50’s, 60’s, 70’s or 80’s; Thursday, Jersey day; and Friday, Homecoming shirt day.
