Hey Tonkawa!
This week at the high school has been wild. We had our first Covid case in the school district. The school had to send around 20 students home to quarantine. Unfortunately, this led to the cancellation of last week’s football game. This also resulted in a change to the schedule for this week’s game. Your Buccaneer football team will be playing at Crescent, Saturday October 3rd with kickoff at 7 p.m. Our Cross country teams will be competing in Luther the morning of the 3rd. Yearbook is still selling T-shirt quilt raffle tickets until October 23rd. With all the uncertainty we are all facing, it becomes very easy to get discouraged and even develop anxiety about what is out of our control, so I chose the following quote for this week: “Stop being afraid of what can go wrong and start being positive of what can go right” -Tony Robbins.
