Hey Tonkawa!
I wanted to thank everyone who came out to the fall sports Senior Night last Friday.
I hope you can come out and catch at least one of the upcoming Lady Buc home softball games. They will be playing at home against Frontier at 5:30 on the 17th, Pawnee at 4:30 the 21st and Blackwell the 29th.
September 18th, the Buccaneer football team will be hosting Blackwell. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. The First Baptist Church (corner of Main and North Ave.) will be hosting 5th quarter this week following the football game for grades 8th- 12th. They will be serving baked potatoes with all the fixings!
The Cross Country teams will be attending their second meet in Hennessey on the 19th.
Also, the yearbook staff will be selling raffle tickets for a Buc T-Shirt quilt starting this Monday. The ticket winner will be announced at the football homecoming game on October 23rd.
This week, I thought we could all use an inspiration quote: “Always believe something wonderful is about to happen” - Dr. Sukhraj Dhillon.
