Tonkawa Senior Night will celebrate our senior athletes early this year. Football Senior night will be this Friday, September 11th at 6:30 before the game to recognize all senior football players, managers, band members, and cheerleaders.

A new shipment of Tonkawa Buccaneer face masks are in just in time for the first home football game Friday night. Spirit masks are available at the Central Office at the Tonkawa Mid-Hi/Highschool site. Masks may be purchased for $10 each Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Go Bucs!!
Chamber golf scramble Saturday
The Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its Annual Fall Golf Scramble Saturday, Sept. 12 with registration beginning at 8 a.m. and a showgun start at 9 a.m. on the Blackwell golf course. Cost is $200 per game and includes two mulligans (extra mulligans can be purchased. Lunch is provided and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. No computers at library
Until further notice, the Tonkawa Public Library will no longer offer access to public computers. This is a precaution taken to keep both the patrons and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The library building is open only for those wishing to check out or return materials, fax, or have copies made. The library building is not available for the following activities: Sitting, resting, chatting, studying, meetings, cell phone use, laptop or tablet use.
Methodists accepting furniture only
Donations for the First United Methodist Church Thrift Sale in Tonkawa are no longer being accepted at this time, with the exception of FURNITURE. If you have any furniture items that you would like to drop off, please call the church office at 580-628-2309, or Meredith Williamson 580-716-2141. The date for the Thrift Sale is still unknown, but will be advertised as soon as times allow.
Donate to weight room project
The Tonkawa Alumni Association is conducting a fund drive for the 2019 weight room project for Buccaneer athletics, president David Fruits said this week. Make checks payable to the Tonkawa Alumni Association,
