Pioneer Tech is hosting two free webinars that will help businesses gain a better understanding of how to sell to government agencies. For 35 years, Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC), like Pioneer Tech, have helped expand the number of small businesses that successfully compete for and win federal, state and local government contracts.
With over 300 local offices, PTAC’s form a nationwide network of more than 600 dedicated professionals who work to help local businesses successfully sell their products and services to government agencies. Dawn Brakey, local PTAC counselor, has served over 300 clients in 2019 and helped them win an estimated 73 million in government contracts and subcontracts.
“My goal is to help companies find new opportunities and grow their business,” says Dawn Brakey. “By helping businesses, Pioneer Tech can stimulate the creation of new jobs and economic growth in our communities.” She goes on to say,” Whether it’s connecting agencies in times of crisis or helping train small contractors on new government requirements, PTACs are always there to help. The success stories of PTAC clients are as diverse as the clients we serve, and I’m happy to serve as a resource partner,” she adds.
The PTAC Day events are virtual, but ten live seats will be available for each session and held at City Central. The morning session, Doing Business with the State of Oklahoma, will be held from 10:00 am to noon. The afternoon session, APTAC National Webinar, begins at 2:00 pm. To register for these events or for more information about the Bid Assistance Program at Pioneer Tech, contact Dawn Brakey by phone or email dawnb@pioneertech.edu.
