The Tonkawa Lady Buc fast pitch softball team is now 7-7 on the season so far.
The Lady Bucs fell to Blackwell 3-5 Monday night, but beat Garber 9-0 and Mulhall-Orlando 8-0 in the North Country Tournament last weekend here.
They lost to Pawhuska last Tuesday 2-13.
Tonkawa was to host Caney Valley Tuesday night. They will go to Nowata Thursday and return home Saturday vs. Blackwell. Both games start at 4:30 p.m.
In the game vs. Garber last week, Taylor Mercer threw a no-hitter and struck out 9.

Taylor Mercer, Skylee Perkins and Sarah Sherron all got RBI’s in the 3-5 loss to Blackwell Monday night.
Scoring were Alyssa Pando, Jaci Johnson and Skylee Perkins. Perkins had three singles. Pando, Sherron and Rylee Hampton also singled.
Perkins got a stolen base.
Mercer pitched and struck out five.

Mercer pitched all six innings, striking out nine and allowing no hits.

Sarah Sherron had three and Jules Thompson had two RBI’s against Mulhall, while Hampton, Mercer, Perkins had one each. Pando, Glenny, Johnson, Perkins, Hampton and Hall each scored. Johnson singled three times, Perkins two and Sherron one in the game. Mercer pitched, striking out four.
