Mrs. Perkins Lost Her Books; She Wants Them
Through the years Mrs. Amy Perkins has assembled quite a number of scrapbooks which are of sentimental value to her, as well as the interest to students of the history of this area.
From time to time she has loaned them to persons working on programs, speeches, or papers about the Tonkawa vicinity. Being of a trustworthy nature, this early day school teacher and club organizer failed to make notations of those who borrowed her books, and she now has forgotten to whom she loaned them.
She would very much like to have them back.
The misplaced books are: A personal scrapbook on the Unity club from the time of its organization in 1911: a leatherbound memorial book entitled “The Pioneer” which contains the personal papers of the late Mrs. Kate Wilkins: and a book of poems “Pioneer Mother” which was a personal gift from Mrs. Perkins, whose phone number is 693, resides at 309 N. Ninth.
