Wonderful Tonkawa,
I am so excited to announce that I will continue writing Buc Blab until our formal graduation in June. This journey has been an absolute honor. The support I get from the community is unreal and I cannot thank all of you enough. Many times, people, some that I know and some that I hadn’t met, have come up to me to talk to me about the Blab and it really just makes my heart happy. Thank you all very much.
The senior parade’s turnout was so much better than expected! The traffic was backed up for blocks and the cars just kept coming. Seeing so many familiar faces just made our day, and the amount of gifts and candy we had received was insane! We could not be more grateful for our community. Really, to some of us seniors this town has been all we’ve known. We have lived here all or most of our lives. It was so amazing to see our little town band together to make what would have been our graduation day so special. You all made me cry, that’s for sure. Sending a huge thank you to anyone who participated!
Thank you to the City of Tonkawa for allowing us to have this event and for putting up our signs downtown.
Thank you to the senior class parents for planning the parade and our cookout. Also, thank you for the wonderful gifts.
Thank you to Tonkawa Public Schools and all faculty for making our experience at school so amazing and for helping form us into the people we are today.
