The Northern Oklahoma College Enid Phi Theta Kappa, Beta Eta Mu Chapter announced their 2020 inductees this week.
Normally, the inductees are honored in a reception at the Marshall Building but the event was canceled due to Covid-19.
This year’s inductees include Kamryn Theilen, Enid (Chisholm); Alexis Booth, Waukomis; Emily Koehn, Enid (Oklahoma Bible Academy); Michael Worthen, Enid (Chisholm); Samantha Cano, Enid (Chisholm); Emily Long, Enid (Oklahoma Bible Academy); and Levi Loos, Enid; Andrew Lambert, Enid; and Gage Biggers, Enid (Chisholm).
PTK sponsors are Tiffany Meachem and Scott Haywood. According to Meacheam, “The purpose for Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.”
