Wheartheart Nutrition closed
Due to the current emergency situation that the State of Oklahoma and the rest of the nation is facing, Wheatheart Nutrition Project will be closings its doors to the public until April 6. If it becomes necessary to extend this time frame, Wheatheart will continue to provide shelf stable meals while supplies are available.
Flight breakfast for April 4th cancelled
The Ponca City Flight breakfast for April 4th has been cancelled. The meal is served at the municipal airport the first Saturday of each month at a cost of $8.
Thrift sale postponed
The Tonkawa First United Methodist Church Thrift Sale has been postponed to a later date to be determined. Donations of furniture and household items are still being taken at this time; however, clothing items are no longer needed. Items may be dropped off at the church basement Monday through Friday, 9am -5pm. Please contact the church office at 580-628-2309, or Meredith Williamson at 580-716-2141 for item pick up or to open family center for larger furniture items.
City-wide garage sales cancelled
The City Wide Garage Sales scheduled for April 4, 2020 has been CANCELLED. The Chamber of Commerce might reschedule for May 2, 2020, but no decision has been made as of now. The next scheduled garage sale is the first Saturday in August if anyone ask.
OK2A-Kay County meeting suspended
Oklahoma 2nd Amendment Association-The State’s Leading Advocate for 2nd Amendment Rights and Liberty Group has suspended its meeting due to the Emergency declared in the State and Ponca City. Meetings are 12:00 Noon the 4th Saturday of each month at New Hope Christian Fellowship in Ponca City. There will be no meeting in March - we plan to be back on schedule for our April 25th meeting. Conoco retirees plan Spring Fling
The ConocoPhillips Retiree Association Spring Fling Picnic for Conoco, ConocoPhillips, and Phillips66 retirees and spouses will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Wentz Camp Dining Hall. Come join your past co-workers and friends for a picnic lunch of Snyder’s chicken and sides, visiting, catching up, laughing and fun.
