GREGORY LEON LORG

Gregory Leon Lorg passed away on February 16, 2020 in Glenpool, OK. He was 69 years old. Greg was born in Blackwell, OK on January 29, 1951 to Arthur J and Mary A. Lorg.

Greg attended school in Tonkawa, OK and received his GED while he was in the Marine Corp at Camp Pendleton, CA.

Greg was employed at the Smelter in Blackwell, OK and then at a machine shop outside Tonkawa, OK.

During Greg’s tour in the Marine Coip he took training at the Parachute School. Greg also served one tour in Viet Nam while serving in the Marine Corp.

Greg loved his flowers, gardening and fishing. He took great joy to worship and fellowship at various churches in Tonkawa. He was truly a free spirit and truly loved his Savior Jesus.

Greg loved visiting with friends and family and he will be missed by all the knew him. Greg will be remembered for his willingness to do anything to help sone one in need.

Greg was proceeded in death by his Father Arthur J. Lorg, his mother Mary A. Lorg, his Brother Arthur L. Lorg and his sister Mary M. Day (Lorg). Greg is survived by his daughter Tiffany and son Eric, both reside in Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by his brother Randy K. Lorg, brother Robert J. Lorg and his wife Cyndy. Greg also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Greg’s Memorial Celebration of life will be held on March 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cowboy Church located at 313 S. Main, Tonkawa, OK.
