The 4th ranked Northern Oklahoma College Mavs Baseball Team split a four-game series with North Central Missouri College Friday and Saturday.
NOC lost the series opener 13-3 on Friday and then rebounded to win the nightcap behind Blake Hubbard and Bryson Armstrong on the mound.
Armstrong was the winner in Game 2 tossing 2.1 innings of one-hit relief in back of starter Blake Hubbard.
Sean Klein and Ben MacNaughton had two hits each while Bryan Burgos, Gio Blackshaw and Hayden Priest had two runs batted in each.
The Mavs trailed 4-2 before scoring six runs in the sixth inning to earn the 8-4 win.
On Saturday, the Mavs won the opener 11-7 and dropped the second game 19-9.
In Game 1, the Mavs out hit NCMC 11-8 as Bryant Bailey had three hits while MacNaughton, Klein and Garrett Crone had two hits each. Crone and Blackshaw had two runs batted in each.
Armstrong earned his second win of the weekend with 2.2 innings of scoreless relief.
In Game 2, the Mavs lost 19-9, Klein and Josh Bumgarner had two hits each.
