The Kay County Chapter of the Oklahoma 2nd Amendment Association (OK2A) held its first meeting with over 65 attending. OK2A is the state’s leading advocate for 2nd Amendment rights. Maintaining a daily presence at the state capitol, OK2A members are working to bring together legislators, attorneys, law professors, and Second Amendment experts, to craft sound public policy.
“Education is key”, said Terry Thompson, Coordinator for the Kay County Chapter. “The public, media and legislators need to understand the importance of our Second Amendment and what it stands for.” Thompson invites all those interested in learning more about OK2A, and what is at stake for Oklahoma citizens, to attend the upcoming meeting being held at noon on Saturday, February 29, at New Hope Christian Fellowship, 401 S. Lincoln, Ponca City, OK. An update will be given, by Rep. John Pfeiffer and others, on the Pending Liberty Legislation for the 2020 Legislative Session. For more details or further information, please contact Terry Thompson, 580-670-0357.
