The Billings Chamber of Commerce met on Wednesday, January 8th at the new 6:30 p.m. meeting time. President Lewain Learned welcomed members Sonnie and Karl Stephens, Mark and Melinda Branson, Aimie Learned, Eileen Learned, and Candy Oller.
Old Business discussed – Yard of the Month sign - Members voted to approve purchasing a new Yard of the Month sign as described by President Learned.
New Business discussed –
Discussion was held concerning the Billings 2019 Citizen of the Year Award Dinner. Members appointed Candy Oller as chair for the event and approved Saturday, February 29 at 6:00 p.m. as the date and time for the dinner. The Chamber will provide the meat entrees, rolls and drinks for the event and those attending will be asked to bring side dishes and desserts as admission to the event.
New 2020 Chamber officers elected are:
President – Beth Bierig; Vice-President-Lewain Learned; Secretary-McKayla Bohon; Treasurer-Gerri Cochrane Lemings; Reporter/Historian-Candy Oller.

Saturday, February 9th – Billings Ministerial Alliance will sponsor the Community Valentine Dinner at 12:30 p.m. in the Billings Community Building – First Baptist Church will host.
Saturday, February 29th – Billings 2019 Citizen of the Year Award Dinner – 6:00 p.m. – Billings Community Building. Nominations are due by Friday, February 7th.
The next meeting of the Billings Chamber of Commerce will be held Wednesday, February 19th at 6:30 p.m. in the Billings Community Building. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the Chamber and attend the meetings.
