Irasen Jauregui is the 2020 Tonkawa high school wrestling queen. King is her brother Joby Jauregui.
Flower girl was Harper Izy Hurst and crown bearer was Camden Jarvis.
The coronation occurred between midhi and high school matches at a dual vs. Barnsdall Tuesday night, Jan. 14.
Irasen Gaudalupe Jauregui is the daughter of Inez Jauregui. She is the only sister to her 3 brothers Ruben, Anthony, and Joby Jauregui. She is the aunt of Abey, Ari, and Titus Jauregui. She has wrestled for four years, ran cross country for three years, track for one year, and swam for one year.
After high school Irasen will attend Northern Oklahoma College in the fall, majoring in Business Administration and plans to continue college at the University of Central Oklahoma to complete a bachelor’s in criminal justice.
Joby Jauregui is the son of Inez and Louie Guerra and the youngest brother to Ruben, Anthony and Irasen Jauregui. He is the proud uncle of Abey and Ari Jauregui and soon to be Titus Jauregui.
Joby has played football for four years and ran track for three years. After high school he plans on going to college.
Flower girl is Harper Izy Hurst. She is the daughter of Kaylee Hurst of Tonkawa and Drew Hurst of Ponca City. She is the granddaughter of Cheryl Lindsey and Tom Hill of Tonkawa, and Robin and Drew Hurst of Ponca City. Harper attends Tonkawa Elementary School and is in Mrs. Anderson’s 1st grade class. Harper loves playing softball, soccer, and doing gymnastics. When she’s not in school she loves being outside and playing with her brother and sister, Rylee and Damon. When Harper grows up she wants to be a scientist.
Crown bearer is Camden Jarvis. He is the son of Dakota and Shanequa Jarvis. He is the grandson of Grady and Terrie Jarvis and James and Drucilla Brown of Tonkawa. Camden is in Mrs. Lopper’s first grade class. He has participated in baseball for three years, soccer for three years, football for one year and wrestling for three years. He finished the 2019-2020 wrestling season with four first place medals and one second place medal. Camden enjoys riding his bike, fishing, and playing fortnite.
