Ciera Kirby Paints by Senior parents
The Tonkawa Class of 2020 senior parents will present Ciera Kirby Paints saturday, Jan. 18, from 6-9 p.m. at the tonkawa Hotel and Casino. The $40 cost includes art supplies. Proceeds will benefit the after prom and senior class activities. For tickets purchase contact any member of the senior class, Mandi Branson or Paula Woodard.
Annual calf fry set Feb. 1st
Tonkawa FFA boosters have set Saturday, Feb. 1, at the annual calf fry and trophy auction. It will be held at the high school cafeteria.
The meal begins at 5:30 p.m. with choice of Calf Fries, Brisket or Chicken Strips, beans and potatoes, along with a homemade dessert. Adults cost $10 Children age 12 and under cost $7. The trophy Auction gets under way at 6:30 p.m. Money raised will help support around 35 students’ livestock show projects.
Father-daughter dance set Feb. 15
The annual Father-Daughter Dance, “Moonlight Memories,” will be held 7-9 p.m. Feb. 15, at the Tonkawa Methodist Church Family Center. dJ Brody with special guest Ciara Brooke will be featured. There will be $1 chances to win special baskets.
Cost is $25 per couple with $5 for additonal date or $30 at the door. Sign-up forms can be picked up at the grade school or high school offices. Questions? Call 580.823.2539. Proceeds will benefit senior class after prom and other activities.
