Tonkawa varsity wrestlers finished 18th at the Chuck West Invitational at Bristow with 25 points. Beau Murphy at 113 pounds was the lone placer for the Bucs at fifth.
Jenks won the tournament, followed by Berryhill, Grove, Mannford, Fort Gibson, Inola, Bishop Kelley, Little Axe, Sapulpa and Bristow. The Bucs finished ahead of Jenks JV, Okmulgee and Will Rogers. The Bucs were to wrestle at Blackwell Tuesday night and will go to the Kingfisher wrestling tournament this Friday and Saturday to finish out 2019.
