Nancy Ruth Bailey graduated with a Master of Arts in Christian Service (Apologetics Emphasis) degree from Oklahoma Baptist University on December 13, 2019. She received the honor of presenting the winter 2019 graduate and professional students during the commencement exercises in Shawnee, OK. Nancy Ruth also holds a Master of Divinity (with Biblical Languages) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2007) and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries (Education Emphasis) from Oklahoma Baptist University (2001). Nancy Ruth served most of her adult life as a children’s minister. She now writes family Bible studies, runs Parent Road Ministries, and serves part-time as the interim children’s director at First Baptist Church Ponca City.

She has published four books under the name Nancy Ruth and is working on her fifth. Nancy Ruth Bailey, a fourth-generation Tonkawa resident, is the daughter of Roger Bailey and the late Mary Louise King Bailey of Tonkawa and the sister of the late Ronna Terrell Bailey, Angie Malezieux of Houston, TX, and Holly Peart of Tonkawa.
