Saturday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m. Alan Dunn and daughter Malinda (above) will be the featured guest at the Ponca City Gospel Jubilee. Alan Dunn of Perry is a singer / songwriter who sang with three siblings for some 20 years across Oklahoma and surrounding states as a member of the Dunn Family Quartet. His father was a pastor for over 40 years and his brother Roger pastored Calvary Baptist Church in Perry for some 22 years until his death in 2016. He has written over 30 Gospel songs and is a member of the BMI music licensing group. His songs have been recorded by several gospel artists. He is active in his church’s education and music ministries. He also has served as Chaplain at the Payne County jail since 2009. His daughter, Melinda is a public school teacher in Ponca City and joins him from time to time for several songs. He plays guitar, bass, piano and harmonica.
