The Pioneer Woman Museum is pleased to participate in the Ponca City Holiday Happening this holiday season. The museum will host a Holiday Happening Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 14. There will be cookie decorating, a holiday craft and visitors can take photos by an old-fashioned red pickup truck and Christmas tree. Mrs. Claus will be reading Christmas stories to children from 10 a.m. to noon. Visitors can also enjoy hot cocoa and cookies. Free gift wrapping is offered for purchases from the gift store.

The Pioneer Woman Museum and Statue is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
