Pioneer Area Quilters Guild will meet on Monday, October 7 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church,
1904 N. Pecan in Ponca City. Stitch and assist is at 10:30 a. m. Social hour will start at 11:00 a.m.
Business meeting begins at Noon followed by show and share of quilts and projects. The program will begin at about 1:00 p. m. Sue Sempler will be the speaker with a lecture and trunk show titled
Halloween Spooktacular.

Guests are always welcome to attend, however, we do ask they join the group after two visits.
Sue retired from St. Francis Hospital recently. Counted cross stitch for hobby and competition was her specialty for many years until she found her love for quilting. 1920’s and ’30’s fabric, Civil War reproduction fabric, and Halloween patterns and prints are her favorite media. Sue is active as a member, an officer and quilt show chair with the Green Country Quilt Guild and the Country Fair Quilt Guild. Sue lives Halloween all year and hopes participants at her presentation will not only have a great time but take away new ideas.
