Tonkawa midhi footballers Monday night swept Pawnee teams.
The sixth and seventh graders picked up their first win of the year 14-0.
The eighth graders continued their unbeaten ways, winning their fourth straight 28-8.
Both teams will see action again next Monday, Oct. 7 at Morrison, 5 p.m.
Touchdowns were scored by Ghost Bear davis on a six and 13 yard run. Davis also ran one of the conversions. Cayden Duvall and Davis also picked up interceptions in the first game.
In the eighth grade game, Lance Terrell opened the contest with an 81 yard kickoff return. Ryan Morgan ran the PAT.
The Bucs went up 16-0 when Morgan passed to Terrell for 29 yards and another touchdown. Morgan also ran the PAT.
The Morgan-Terrell pass combo continued into the second quarter with a 40 yard TD completion to let the Bucs go to intermission up 22-0.
Pawnee scored late in the third quarter to narrow the gap 8-22.
Terrell intercepted midway through the final quarter and Morgan ran 25 yards for the final TD making the final 28-8 advantage. Terrell also covered a fumble on the onside kickoff to end the game.
