Skylar Yocham and Brooks Rogers were named Northern Oklahoma College Student Athlete of the Week for Sept. 16.
Yocham is a freshman forward from Bristow, Oklahoma, while
Rogers is a freshman midfielder from Jenks High School in Tulsa.
“Skylar (Yocham) has been very active for us up top and has been causing a lot of issues with opposition defenses,” said Mavs women’s coach Jade Ovendale. “She has been close to scoring a few goals and is leading us in shots.”
“Brooks (Rogers) has been the anchor of our defense all season,” said men’s coach Michael DuRoy. “He puts in a ton of hard work every game. He does a lot of the little things that go unnoticed but are very important to the team.”
