Tonkawa school board members met Monday night and approved several housekeeping measures.
All five members -- Cara Beth Johnson, Casey McAninch, Jerry Hook, Nancy Appleman and Mary Allan -- were present.
In action, the board approved the following:
-- General fund expenditures totalling $41,938.76.
-- Approved an increase in adult prices at the cafeteria to $2.20 for breakfast and $3.86 for lunches.
-- Discussed the administration of the ACT to the junior class for 2019-2020.
-- Approved an amendment to student medication policy to permit the self-administration of replacement pancreatic enzymes for treatment of cystic fibrosis.
-- Approved the gifted and talented advisory board of the new school year.
-- Approved the amendment to the responsibilities of the Safe School Committee.
-- Approved an amendment to the child abuse and neglect reporting policy.
-- Approved the school year days to hours calendar dergulation.
