Do you feel like that glowing rectangle is dominating you and your children’s lives? Do you think there has to be a better way?
You’re invited on August 10th for free showing of Andy Crouch’s The Tech-Wise Family. All parents and students aged 12 and up are encouraged to attend and childcare will be provided for those younger. It will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Christian Life Church.
Learning to make conscientious choices about technology in our families is more than just using internet filters and determining screen time limits for our children. It’s about developing wisdom, character, and courage in the way we use digital media rather than accepting technology’s promises of ease, instant gratification, and the world’s knowledge at our fingertips. And it’s definitely not just about the kids.
As an author, speaker, and musician, Andy Crouch has shaped the way our generation sees culture, creativity, and the gospel.
