Celesta Hope Davis

Celesta Hope Davis, 93, died on June 3, 2019. She was born in Tonkawa, Oklahoma on January 22, 1926, to Forrest (Pete)

Mc Clung and Elsie Knapp-Mc Clung. Family and friends called Celesta by her preferred name, Hope.

She was a longtime resident of Tustin, CA, who recently moved to North Texas. Hope died at her daughter’s Cedar

Hill home after a period of declining health.

She married Richard E. Davis, of Tonkawa, who preceded her in death. Hope is survived by her son, Richard (Dick) D.

Davis, of Muskogee, OK and her daughter, Dee Ann Skaggs of Cedar Hill, Texas.

A celebration of Hope’s life will begin at 1:00 pm, July 19th, at Top of Oklahoma Historical Museum located at 303 South Main Street, Blackwell, OK. The graveside service will follow at the Roberts-IOOF Odd Fellows Cemetery.
