Roberta Jean Warner
Roberta Jean Warner, 82, of Billings, Oklahoma, was born on October 27, 1936 to Eugene Fredrick and Florence Mae (Holcomb) Smith. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 25, 2019 at her residence in Billings, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.
She graduated from Tonkawa High School in 1954 then attended Northern Oklahoma Jr. College in Tonkawa from 1954-1956 where she played basketball, softball, tennis and sang in the choir. After finishing college she married Harry Clifford Warner Sr. on August 3, 1956 in Augusta, Georgia.
She worked as a nurse at the Billings Fairchild Center for over forty years where she enjoyed caring for all the residents there. One of her many passions was taking care of elderly people in their homes.
Roberta enjoyed mowing the lawn, flower gardening, crocheting, reading books, and puzzles.
Roberta is a member of the First Baptist Church in Billings, Oklahoma.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, Billings, Oklahoma.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, Billings, Oklahoma.
Rev. Kurtis Stoll officiated with Rev. Floyd Westfall assisting. Interment was at Tonkawa IOOF Cemetery in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing her memory is her son Harry Warner of Billings, Oklahoma; three daughters, Jeannie Mencke and her husband, Troy of Blair, Nebraska, Cindy Westhoven and her husband, Lawrence of Tucson, Arizona, Linda Stoll and her husband , Kevin of Billings,
Oklahoma; one brother, Earnest Smith and his wife, Sharon of Fritch, Texas; three sisters, Sharon James and her husband, David of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Barbara Haskins and her husband, Homer of Amarillo, Texas, Eugenia Lunsford and her husband, Bob of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eleven grandchildren, Robert Warner, Mike Stoll, Bryan Stoll, Kyle Hoffer, Daniel Hoffer, Kurtis Stoll, Andrew Westhoven, Casey Westhoven, Lance Stoll, Travis Westhoven, and Gavin Stoll; eighteen great-grandchildren, Auston, Marissa, Drake, Lucas, Langsten, Elizabeth, Addelyn, Madison, Aden, Alyk, Brealee, Maddox, Hadlee, Maci, Asher, Benjamin, Rhett, and Baby Hoffer.
Preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Florence, husband, Harry and one grandson, Travis Westhoven, two brothers, four sisters, one half brother, and three half sisters.
