Seventeen individuals were recognized last week at Pioneer Technology Center’s (PTC) Guaranteed Graduate Recognition Ceremony and Reception.
The initiative was created more than four years ago. “The Guaranteed Graduate Initiative was created to assist industry partners. The high achievement expected from these students’ means successful employees in the workplace, which ultimately means successful companies in our district,” said Traci Thorpe, Superintendent/CEO. Area employers can feel confident in hiring Pioneer Tech graduates who qualify for the guarantee.
The rigorous screening process includes outstanding attendance, an excellent grade point average, completion of their training program and achievement of an industry licensed credential or certification. Pioneer Tech stands by the graduates and as part of the guarantee, they agree to retrain skills if employers are not pleased with the graduate’s job performance.
