Five Northern Oklahoma College baseball, softball players were named to the NJCAA Region 2 All-Region Team.
Three Maverick softball players were named while two baseball players were honored.
For NOC softball, Kyia Monahwee was named to the NJCAAAll-Region First Team while Rachel Rumsey and Taylor Lane were named to the Second Team.
Monahwee, a sophomore outfielder from Morris, led Region 2 with 16 home runs and 63 runs batted in.
Rumsey, a freshman from Prague, hit .348 with seven home runs and 56 runs batted in.
Lane, a sophomore pitcher from Stillwater, led Region 2 with 259 strike outs. She had 21 wins for the Mavs.
For NOC baseball, Cacy Harper and Trevin Michael were named to the all-region team.
Harper, a sophomore catcher from Berryhill, hit .354 with 12 home runs and 54 runs batted in.
Michael, a pitcher from Piedmont, was 8-2 with a 2.62 ERA for the Mavs.
