CASA of Kay and Noble Counties has once again partnered with Pioneer Technology Construction
Technology Class for the 2019 CASA Playhouse. This year’s theme of a castle complete with draw bridge and slide was selected, designed and built by members of the Construction Technology Class.
The playhouse is on display at the corner of 14th and Grand in the parking lot of Grace Episcopal
Church.
This is the 8th Playhouse to be built by a community organization and the fourth built by the Construction Technology Class. James Kirkendall, PTC Construction Technology Instructor said that
“Every year our students learn so much from taking on this project. Each playhouse has its own unique characteristics.” This year’s castle design features a draw bridge, slide and each of the corner pieces are hand-crafted.
Playhouse tickets are now on sale through June 1st at 3:00 p.m. when the drawing will occur at the
Ponca City Herb Festival. Playhouse tickets can be purchased at the following locations: RCB Banks in Ponca City, Equity Bank in Ponca City, First National Bank of Oklahoma in Ponca City, Tyndall
Dentistry or at the CASA Office at Northern Oklahoma Youth Services at 2203 North Ash or by calling 580-762-8341. Tickets will also be sold at the Herb Festival on June 1 at L.A. Cann garden.
