THS Alumni will meet on Wednesday, May 1, ar 5:30 p.m. at the THS Library.
‘Paint with Ciera’ at library Friday
The Friends of the Tonkawa Public Library are hosting their first “Paint With Ciera” Fundraiser April 26th at 6:30 p.m. at the Tonkawa Public Library. Tickets are $35 and available for purchase at the Library. This event will benefit the children of the community as the proceeds go directly to paying for children’s programs, prizes, and incentives. Paint your choice of 2 designs. There will be a raffle drawing and finger foods as well.
Tonkawa cheer car wash Saturday
Tonkawa cheerleaders are planning some events to end the school year, according to sponsor Angela Reyes.

Saturday, April 27th - High School Cheer Car Wash will be held in front of the high school cafeteria from 10:00-2:00 Donations Accepted (We will re-schedule for April 28th if it rains.)
Billings Cemetery Clean Up Day May 4
The annual cleanup day at the Billings Union Cemetery will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 9:00 a.m. All help will be greatly appreciated. We need to pick up limbs, trash, and prepare the cemetery for the upcoming Memorial Day Service, which will be held on Monday, May 27, at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to help out. Also, the Cemetery Association is accepting donations to assist in maintaining and improving the cemetery. Please send your donations to Carrie Boyer, 612 South Central, Billings, OK 74630. The McCarter Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00-3:00 p.m..

GED classes are held on NOC campus
Adult Basic and High School Equivalency (Formerly GED) classes are being held at NOC Campus; Wednesdays 5 – 8 p.m. in Wilkin Hall Room 121. Call 580-718-4319 for more info.
IOOF Cemetery needs donations
The IOOF Cemetery is in need of donations to continue operation of the cemetery, Garry Davis announced this week. Brent Bailey is caretaker. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 121 with checks made to the Tonkawa Cemetery for upkeep.
Davis said money is short because of fewer funerals.
