Oklahoma American Legion Boys State: “A week that shapes a lifetime” of Oklahoma’s best and brightest high school students. Tonkawa American Legion Post #71 the 2021 Boys State delegate as Riley Price, a junior at Tonkawa high school, and appreciates the sponsors.
Due to Covid, the 2020 Boys State was cancelled but fortunately for 2021, The Oklahoma American Legion Boys State will be in person and will also include individuals selected as the 2020 delegates. Oklahoma American Legion Boys State is a week-long discovery of the essence of civic duty, citizenship, patriotism and understanding the American system of government and politics through participation and hands-on learning.
