The Kay County Retired Educators Association will hold its next meeting on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. in the Fireside
Room at Hospice of North Central Oklahoma in Ponca City. There will be a catered lunch available for $10. Wendy Stobbe, newly named as the Hospice CEO, will provide some information about their organization and its services.
Special guests will include Marilyn McIntosh, North Central region director; Polly Christian, Oklahoma Retired Educators President; and Jeff Kail, regional director who will talk briefly about benefits.
KCREA is the local affiliate of the state organization and represents over 600 retirees in Kay County alone. The state organization represents over 15,000 retired teachers and support staff from all across Oklahoma. Local officers include Barbara Caldwell, president; Nancy Niemann, past-president; Shirley Neal, treasurer; Cindy Watson, secretary; Carol Champlin, volunteer hours; and Royce Caldron, membership chair.
