Schulte, 41, vice president and cashier of the First Mustang State Bank has been named vice president and loan officer of the First National Bank here. Gilbert Humphries, president announced today. Schulte will begin his duties here on Monday, January 17.An experienced banker, Schulte has been at Mustang since October 1969 and prior to that was managing officer of the First State Bank, Noble from May 1966 to October 1969. He was president of the Kansas State Bank at Garrett, Kansas from October 1963- February 1966. He and his brother bought the Parker State Bank at Parker, Kansas and moved it to Garrett and he operated it until the bank was sold.He also has experience as assistant vice president of the Suburban Bank 7 Trust Co., Kansas City, Missouri and as cashier of the Garrett State Savings Bank. In addition he has had insurance experience and has been licensed insurance agent.A native of Westphalia, Kansas, Schulte received his education at Rockhurst college, Kansas City, Missouri. He and his wife Bernice have three children. The family belongs to the Catholic church. He served in the US Navy and was discharged in 1959. He belongs to the Knights of Columbus, the IOOF Lodge and the Chamber of Commerce at Mustang. He was a member of the Lions club of Garrett.He replaces Warren A. Wilson, who recently resigned on the staff of the bank.Governor Names Dr. Edwin Fair To NOC RegentsDr. Edwin Fair, Ponca City psychiatrist and head of the Bi-State Mental Health Foundation has been named to serve on the board of regents of Northern Oklahoma college, the Governor’s office informed the News late Thursday afternoon.Dr. Fair will serve a five year term to June 30, 1976 and succeeds Roy Mays, Ponca City. Continental Oil Company vice president, who resigned from the board in early spring.The appointment is effective upon State Senate confirmation.City Receives $4,141.32 For City Sales TaxThe city of Tonkawa received a check for $4,141.23 as its share of the one-cent city sales tax, according to the Oklahoma Tax Commission. The check was an increase over the January 1971 payment which was $3,642.75.Municipal sales taxes levied in 267 cities and towns during November resulted in a record disbursement of $4,452.192 this month.December collections are being remitted to the state agency this month and ...
