60 years ago, June 5, 1961Decreased Enrollment IndicatedA decreased school enrollment appears likely for the 1961-62 school year.According to the annual school enumeration recently completed, a total of 1,129 children through the age of 17 presently reside in the district. In the pre-school age, a total 335 children were enumerated this year as compared with 370 last year. There are 53 six-year-olds listed on the 1961 census as compared with 66 enumerated last year.Fresh Approach to Kinematics Given By NOJC Graduate “Mechanization of Motion,” by Lee Harrisberger, has just been“Mechanization of Motion,” by Lee Harrisberger, has just been released by a New York and London Publisher.Harrisberger is the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Harrisberger, formerly of Ponca City and is married to the former Florence Peppard of Tonkawa.Harrisberger, a former NOJC student, is now on a fellowship grant studying for his doctorate at Purdue university. Last Easter he was one of 40 international scientists chosen to attend a scientific conference at Vale university to study world-wide scientific problems.“Mechanization of Motion” is hailed by technical engineers and professors of advanced studios as a fresh approach to the study of kinematics. It gives the trained engineer or scientist a new avenue of thought in the process and procedure of synthesis of mechanisms. While the average person would not understand the technicalities set forth in the book, his well-being will probably be affected by the greater efficiency gained by industries from its study.Mr. and Mrs. Harrisberger and their three children reside in New Lafayette, Ind.Mrs. Harrisberger was reared in Tonkawa by her uncle and aunt, the late Dr. and Mrs. J.
