Youth Choirs of 1st Baptist Sing On SundayBeginner, primary and junior choirs will sing in the Sunday evening services of the First Baptist church, according to Robert Cargill, pastor.Members of the youth choirs will also be honored for attendance. Those attaining a 70 percent attendance record and junior choir members who participated in the annual Parade of Choirs held recently at Shawnee will each receive a Harp pin.Mrs. Don Lyall is director of the beginners’ choir. White and the degrees were conferred by Dr. Cross and the deans of the respective colleges. The graduates were welcomed in the alumni organization by Donald E. Walker, Tulsa University of Oklahoma Alumni association president.
