Fire Department Now Offering First Aid CourseTonkawa residents interested in a First Aid Course are invited to come to the Fire Station at 7 p.m. tonight for the first session of The Fire Service First Aid Course sponsored by the Oklahoma State University Fire School. The course will be taught by Eddie Manley, who has completed the instructor’s course at OSU.Manley said that two films, “Pulse of Life (a heart film), and one on rescue breathing, will be shown at tonight’s session.“We cordially invite any interested person to take the course,” Manley said.Best Pickers In FB Contest Miss Only TwoThe best pickers on the tie-breaker came out the money winners in last week’s Football Contest when six entrants missed but two games. All six picked Utah State over Memphis State and most picked Oklahoma State over Virginia Tech.Winner of the first place and the $7.50 each prize is John R. Schatz, Box 61. He picked the score of the tie-breaker at 27-14 and the actual score was 25-14.Second place money, $5.00 cash is awarded to Ben Humphries, 306 South Second and third place money, $2.50 goes to Jeanie Burns, 409 North Tenth.
