Sadly, the time has come that this will be the final Buccaneer Blab from the class of 2022… This past year has been more than amazing and we can’t thank everyone enough that has donated, supported us, and led us through all these years up to this point. All sporting events have closed up for the rest of the year. AG has finished and had a great trip to Tulsa for the FFA convention and had a great time. AG class had a huge turnout this year with many accomplishments. We are so happy and proud of you all, great job! Band had another amazing year and are looking forward to another one next year as they had many number 1’s and trophies brought back to Tonkawa’s Campus. Marching band was amazing this year for football and we hope to see it even better next year, great job Pride of Tonkawa! The last remaining sports are baseball and track that just ended sadly, but had a great turnout for both! Track went to State this past weekend at Catoosa, we had many athletes that competed and placed up there in the state but fell a little short. We had a few advance to the State Finals that were so close but fell short too. Everyone did amazing, congratulations everyone! Baseball traveled to Amber-Pocasset for Regionals for the first time in 3 years, they beat Fairview but fell short against AMPO and Haskell. The Bucs put up a great fight and weren’t expected to, but just barely fell short. Such an amazing season for these players, great job Buccaneers! To all the seniors, thank you for your fight, love, and effort you have given our school since early elementary. We hope you carry these traits into the real world and keep that Buccaneer mentality forever. Once a Buccaneer, always a Buccaneer. This school has been home forever and we will miss this place more than anything, thank you teachers, coaches, and faculty. We love every one of you. Class of 2022, we will see you later.
