Starting with the traditional Friday morning Alumni Coffee and All-class meeting, THS Alums had a full weekend. Friday morning, THS students welcomed Alumni with coffee and cookies in the Event Center. President David Fruits welcomed Alumni, reported on Alumni projects, and introduced the Alumni Board. Superintendent Lori Simpson presented an update on school projects. Vice- President Melinda Glasgow recognized both past and present Distinguished Alumni and Buccaneer Pride recipient, Charles Conaghan. Scholarship Chair Dr. Jill Shackelford announced Alumni Scholarship recipients Emma Owen, daughter of Annie and Jeremy Owen, and James Grien, son of Monica and Peter Grein. Alumni members approved Fruits, Secretary Reta Swords, Treasurer Debbie Flannery, Shackelford, and Glasgow as officers for the coming year. After the meeting, alums, their families, and friends continued to reminisce during the parade and assembly. Several class reunions took place, and the Buc win highlighted the weekend.
