Another week of Buc Blab coming your way. It’s winded down a little but things are starting to pick back up. Basketball started this last week, both teams are 0-2 with a late start with football season just ending. Jaci Johnson (Post/Inside Player) has been working hard in the paint putting up some amazing shots and rebounding these past two games for the Lady Bucs. Chazz Slavens (Point Guard/Wing) is going all out with deep shots and big drives getting past the defense. We will be playing in the Garber Tournament this week with a bunch of great teams we will be playing against. Good luck Bucs and bring us home a trophy! Come support us throughout the week. So this past week I was able to get an extra week off, but not in a good way. I was quarantined for the first time this school year and I am hoping I don’t have to do it again. Bringing up this topic, I just want to say that we have held up greatly this year with the pandemic. We have a lot of great healthy students all the way from Pre-K to Seniors. We haven’t had one problem yet and we are super fortunate. A quick thank you to our students, faculty, and donors of equipment and supplies to help us fight against this pandemic. I was not able to fit in a joke on last weeks blab, so I promise I will make it up with a good one! I have heard a mix between how terrible these are and how good these are, so I guess I need to step up my Dad Joke game.
